Wondering what to do with modeling paste and impasto techniques? Ever ask yourself “How do they do that?” This is a great class for students of all levels who are interested in creating solid mass and textures in their work. You will learn how to use large palette knives as texturizing and painting tools. Work fresh and bold in an experimental manner then apply it to a finished painting on canvas in abstract or representational styles.
Sharon will lead you on this journey through this misunderstood medium. You may work from your own photographic reference materials if you like, and will be given guidance on how to make them more exciting and dynamic.

Cost: $150 + hst. Art materials extra.
